As-Salaamu `Alaykum our dear Family,

The Great and Blessed Month of Ramadan has arrived onto a world going through unprecedented changes and adaptations.

In this time when the immeasurable strength and solidarity of the Muslim Ummah is Examined, the Islamic Forum of Canada would like to wish you Ramadan Mubarak, from Our Family to yours. We know that this year’s Ramadan will have the additional challenge of self-isolation, something that is the complete opposite of the spirit of Ramadan and Eid. But we will persist, together.

Sayyiduna Rasulullah SAWS said, “Verily, the Believers are like a structure, each part strengthening the other,” [and the Prophet SAWS clasped his fingers together] (Bukhari)

The Islamic Forum of Canada will continue to do our part in keeping us unified and connected as a warm family. We will be providing livestreams of Taraweeh every night for the Holy month of Ramadan. You can stream Taraweeh from any device and can pray with us in your home. This nightly livestream will begin at 7pm every night, and will also include Ifṭār, Maghrib, Isha, and then finally Taraweeh.

Based on International Moon Sighting Criteria, the Islamic Forum has made the following decision:

First Taraweeh:
Thursday Night – April 23rd – 2020

Livestream Starts At 7:00 PM Every night

First Day of Ramadan and Fasting:
Friday – April 24th – 2020

1. Daily Taraweeh

2.  Sahoor Livestream Program

2.  Iftar Livestream Program

4. Tahajjud Program
